Antananarivo city tour

The trip begins with a visit to the city of Antananarivo, perched on a hill and offering panoramic views of the surrounding area. We then take the RN7 to Antsirabe, located in the Malagasy highlands and famous for its hot springs and hilly landscapes, followed by Fianarantsoa and its typical architecture, and Ambalavao, a town renowned for its Antemoro paper and traditional tapestry artisans. Next, the Isalo National Park is a must-see, with its spectacular rock formations, waterfalls and natural pools.

Then head south to Tuléar

A lively coastal town offering water-based activities such as snorkeling and diving in the coral reefs. From here, the journey continues southeast to Fort Dauphin, a picturesque port town where visitors can enjoy beautiful beaches.

We then head up Madagascar's east coast

Continuing our adventure, we follow Madagascar’s east coast towards Manakara and Mananjary, reaching the beginning of the Canal des Pangalanes, a coastal waterway stretching over 600 km, offering the possibility of sailing all the way to Tamatave. This leg of the journey is a contemplative experience, between dense forests, tranquil lakes and vast green plains, allowing us to discover the delicious cuisine and customs of the fishermen who live by the water.

The voyage ends off the east coast of Madagascar

The journey culminates off Madagascar’s east coast, on the island of Sainte-Marie. Here, you’ll discover pristine white sandy beaches, crystal-clear waters home to an abundance of marine biodiversity, and the chance to indulge in water sports such as diving and deep-sea fishing. Immerse yourself in the island’s history, with vestiges of the pirate era and the French colonies.
